Frequently Asked Questions


  1. How often does The Giving Circle meet? The Giving Circle hosts informal get-togethers and official events several times a year. Event announcements will be made on our home page and through our mailing list.
  2. How much is a typical donation? We suggest pledging a donation that is an amount that is meaningful to you. A minimum annual contribution of $52 (one dollar per week) is required to be a voting member, and the suggest annual contribution amount is $365. 
  3. Can people I know from outside of Moscow and Idaho donate? Yes! Anyone can donate at anytime using the donation button on the website. 
  4. How is funding managed? The Women’s Giving Circle works with the Latah County Community Foundation (LCCF) to administer funds to selected organizations.
  5. ​How can I get involved? The easiest way to get involved is to donate! We also give women donors the opportunity to help rate and select organizations. We also encourage members to volunteer time serving in leadership roles in the Women's Giving Circle.
  6. How are organizations selected? Giving Circle members select and vote for their preferred grantee. Organizations must submit proposals during the open proposal period and must fit with the priority area of the funding cycle. 
  7. When do funding cycles open and close?​ Our first funding cycle is open now until March 31, 2026. Grant applications for non-profit organization will open February 1 and close March 15, 2026. More details can be found on our About the Circle page.
